Dear Members:

We have had a great summer at Conestoga Campground.  If you stopped by this summer you will have seen many changes.  We have worked hard and accomplished many projects.  I have listed below most of the projects.

We put in a drain line for the spring runoff that floods several sites each spring.
There are two new flower beds on the south end of row three & four.
The storage buildings were moved west 12 feet and new silhouettes were added to them.
We replace several dead plants and trees while doing more landscaping.
This year we had at least 10 people bring us rocks to add to the water feature.
Gordon & I visited several local mines and collected more rocks.
The flag pole is now located near the building.
Campers have added more pictures of the area and animals to our picture album.
We purchased another John Deere tractor to help with mowing.
The kitchen area that was in the store is now gone.  This makes more store area.
The carpet was removed from the store and recreation room and new flooring install.
Yesterday we finished building and installing a windmill to add air to the pond.

We are looking forward to the community activities next summer.  Come attend some of the following events: the Cowboy Poetry competition on Mother's Day, the Fishing Derby on Father's Day, the 4th of July Ranchers Rodeo, the second annual Music Festival the last weekend in July, and of course the Labor Day Rodeo.   For other activities scheduled for the 2012 summer season, you can check out our chamber website at www.meagherchamber.org.

Don't miss the fun, call and make your reservations.  We had a full house for the music festival and the holidays this summer, so you will need to make reservations for those nights in advance to insure we have sites available.

We have had a fantastic summer in 2011 and hope you did too.  Make plans now to come and see all the improvements in 2012.
